Manchego 6 months PDO
Manchego is a Spanish cheese that is made with milk from sheep of the Manchega breed. Traditionally, it was made with wooden boards and esparto grass sheets, which gave it a distinct basket weave rind pattern. Today, the moulds used to make the cheese have the same wheat-ear pattern.
At 6 months, this manchego cheese is lightly crumbly, with sweet and nutty tastes.
